Echo November – “Fall Into Me” Single Review

Hertfordshire indie rockers Echo November saw a tremendous buzz last year on the back of their debut single “Thrown To The Sea” that just so happened to be featured on This Morning on ITV. Not bad for a debut right? Despite being a very new band, Echo November are steaming forward with their newest single “Fall Into Me” and plans for an upcoming EP.

Their newest single is essentially an indie power anthem covered in spacious, catchy melodies. “Fall Into Me” shows off some seriously awesome guitar melodies that sound like they have been pleasantly simmered for ten minutes on gas mark 6 in pure cloudy reverb. However, the track doesn’t fall victim to the common trait of soaking everything in reverb, instead showing off some deep belting vocal talent and rhythms reminiscent of Circa Waves or The Temper Trap.

“The lyrics are based around two people who have started to find feelings for each other but are afraid to admit them, for fear that it will affect their existing relationship. The song represents the excitement and thrill of finally admitting the truth of how you feel.” Says bassist Sam.

With the sheer amount of support that Echo November have received so far, I have no doubt that they’ll go on to be one of the next indie frontrunners, and look forward to their debut EP!
